His Name is Savior,

Luke 1:47 - and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,

Luke 2:11 - Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.

Ephesians 5:23 - For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.

His Name is Lion of Judah,

Hosea 5:14 - 4 For I will be like a lion to Ephraim,
like a great lion to Judah

Revelation 5:5 - Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals."

His Name is Blessed Prince of Peace, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, and Everlasting Father,

Isaiah 9:6 - For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

His Name is Shepherd,
John 10:11 - "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

John 10:14 - "I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me-

His Name is Fortress,

2nd Samuel 22:2 - He said:
"The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;

Psalms 31:2,3 - Turn your ear to me,
come quickly to my rescue;
be my rock of refuge,
a strong fortress to save me.
3 Since you are my rock and my fortress,
for the sake of your name lead and guide me.

Isaiah 17:10 - You have forgotten God your Savior;
you have not remembered the Rock, your fortress.

His Name is Rock of Salvation,

2nd Samuel 22:47 - The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.

Psalms 89:26 - He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.

His Name is Lamb of God,

John 1:29 - The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

John 1:36 - When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, "Look, the Lamb of God!"

His Name is Son of David,

Matthew 1:1 - A record of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the son of David, the son of Abraham:

Matthew 9:27 - As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, "Have mercy on us, Son of David!"

Luke 18:38 - He called out, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!"

His Name is King of the Ages,

Revelation 15:3 - "Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the ages.

His Name is Eternal Light,

Luke 2:30-32 - For my eyes have seen your salvation,
31 which you have prepared in the sight of all people, 32 a light for revelation to the Gentiles
and for glory to your people Israel."

John 8:12 - When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

John 9:5 - While I am in the world, I am the light of the world."

His Name is Holy Lord of Glory,
1st Corinthians 2:8 - None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

James 2:1 - My brothers, as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don't show favoritism.

His Name is Everlasting Life.

John 6:47,48 - I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life. 48 I am the bread of life.

Honor the names of God, and worship Him according to the greatness that He has made known in your life.

He is Jehovah-Hoseenu (Jehovah my maker)

He is our Creator
He made this world and everything in it

He is Jehovah-Rohi (Jehovah my shepherd)

He keeps us and feeds us

Psalms 23:1 - The LORD is my shepherd�

He is Jehovah-Jireh (Jehovah will provide)

Psalms 23:1 - � I shall not be in want.

He is Jehovah-Shalom (Jehovah is peace)

Psalms 23:2 - He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,

He is Jehovah-Rophe (Jehovah Heals)

Psalms 23:3 - he restores my soul�

He is Jehovah-Tsidkenu (Jehovah our righteousness)

Psalms 23:3 - � He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

He is Jehovah-Shammal (Jehovah is there)

Psalms 23:4 - Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

He is Jehovah-Nissi (Jehovah my banner)

Psalms 23:5 - You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies�

He is Jehovah-M'Kaddesh (Jehoveh who sanctifies)

Psalms 23:5 - � You anoint my head with oil�

He is Jehoveh-Tsebaoth (Jehovah Lord of Host)

1st Samuel 17:45 - Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

He is Jehovah-Heleyon (Jehovah Lord Most High)

Genesis 14:18-20 - Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High, 19 and he blessed Abram, saying, "Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth. 20 And blessed be God Most High,
who delivered your enemies into your hand."

Praise - Kingdom Established

Pray that the Lord's Kingdom continue to be established on this earth; that it would grow and strengthen, and be a light and salt to this earth.

Pray that the Lord would use you to help further His kingdom.

Pray for the kingdoms of this earth to recognize the authority of God and for our rulers to rule with godly authority.

Pray for your city, state, nation, and spiritual leadership.

The Lord established His kingdom on this earth at His resurrection. Thank Him and praise Him for His salvation, for the nation of believers that He set up, and for abolishing the priesthood so that we all might come before the throne of grace through the authority of Jesus Christ.

Praise - Sovereignty of God

1st Chronicles 29:10-13 - "Praise be to you, O LORD, God of our father Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. 11 Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. 12 Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. 13 Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name.

Matthew 28:18 - Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

Ephesians 1:9,10 - And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10 to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment-to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.

Philippians 2:9-11 - Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Colossians 1:16 - For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.

The Lord has all power, both in heaven and here on earth. He is Lord of All.

Petitions

While coming before the throne of God, use the power of the Blood, the authority of Binding and Loosing Spirits, and the assistance of Angels.

The Blood -

Exodus 12:13 - The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt.

Leviticus 8:30 - Then Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood from the altar and sprinkled them on Aaron and his garments and on his sons and their garments. So he consecrated Aaron and his garments and his sons and their garments.

Pray for the blood to be applied to our day, to our families, our church, our city, state, and nation.

Claim the blood that has been applied to your life.

Binding and Loosing -

Matthew 18:18,19 - "I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.

Bind the Spirit of Fear; loose the Spirit of Love, Power, and Sound Mind.

Bind the Perverse Spirit; loose the Excellent Spirit.

Bind the Spirit of Jealousy; loose the Spirit of Love.

Bind the Spirit of Error; loose the Spirit of Truth.

Bind the Lying Spirit, loose the Spirit of Truth.

Bind the Spirit of Heaviness, loose the Spirit of the Comforter, the Garment of Praise, and the Oil of Joy.

Bind Seducing Spirits, loose the Holy Spirit.

Bind the Spirit of Anti-Christ, loose the Spirit of Truth.

Bind the Spirit of Bondage, loose the Spirit of Liberty, and Adoption.

Bind the Spirit of Haughtiness, and loose the Humble and Contrite Spirit.

Bind the Spirit of Infirmity, and loose the Spirit of Life, and the Gifts of Healing.

Angels -

Note - We do not pray to angels. Ask God to dispatch them to the areas that they are needed.

Pray that the Lord would send mighty angels to the Princes of your city, to pull down spiritual strongholds of darkness.

Pray that the Lord would send guardian angels to watch over our children, our elderly, our new converts, and our missionaries.

Pray that the Lord would send ministering angels to comfort and encourage our missionaries, those who have lost jobs or loved ones, and those who are being persecuted for the gospel.

Petition - Meet Our Needs

This is the time to bring before the Lord your requests.

Proverbs 30:8,9 - Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. 9 Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, 'Who is the LORD?' Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.

Petition - Forgiveness

1st John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Confess your sins to the Lord, that He might forgive you and cleanse you of all unrighteousness, washing you in His blood that he shed for you on Calvary.

Petition - Lead Us Out Of Temptation

1st Corinthians 10:13 - No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

Pray that the Lord would keep you from temptation; that He would strengthen you so that you would be able to resist temptation.
James 4:7-10 - Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

2nd Peter 2:9 - The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations�

Pray that when you do encounter temptation that the Lord show you the way out.

In order to be able to stand against temptation and the evil one, pray that the Lord assist you in putting on the full armor of God:
Truth, Right-Living, Readiness to Preach the Gospel, Faith, Salvation, Word of God, and Prayer.

Preservation

Think of this as spiritual maintenance for yourself and others.

Remember that the Lord will not forgive you unless you forgive others. Pray that the Lord help you to forgive others. Refer back to Preparation For Prayer. Ask the Lord to help you with these things.

John 13:34,35 - "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

Ask the Lord to give you a love for others.

Luke 6:27-36 - "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 29 If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. 30 Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. 31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.
32 "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' do that. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' lend to 'sinners,' expecting to be repaid in full. 35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. 36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

Pray that the Lord help you to love even your enemies.

James 2:1-4, 8-10, 12,13 - My brothers, as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don't show favoritism. 2 Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in shabby clothes also comes in. 3 If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, "Here's a good seat for you," but say to the poor man, "You stand there" or "Sit on the floor by my feet," 4 have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts? If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, "Love your neighbor as yourself," you are doing right. 9 But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers. 10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, 13 because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment!

Pray for help in abstaining from judging others, or showing favoritism.

This is the time for performing spiritual maintenance on yourself. Do you have a problem with gossiping? Lust? Slander? Lying? Stealing? Hate?
Pray that the Lord would help to deliver you (and others) from these things.

Ask the Lord to protect your mind.

Isaiah 26:3 - Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Romans 8:6 - The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace;

Philippians 2:5 - Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus

Pray that the Lord would protect your heart.

Pray that He lead you and guide you into all Truth.

Ask for the courage to fearlessly proclaim the gospel.

Request that your faith be built up.

Pray that the Lord would write His Word upon your heart.

Closing

Remember to ask that your prayers be answered through the authority of Jesus Christ.

Colossians 3:17 - And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

You have chosen me to become your child, you have adopted me into your holy family, and I thank you for accepting me, Lord God. Not only did you choose me when I was lost, but you chose me when I was your enemy.
You loved me so much that you didn't wait for me to become righteous, but you died for me when I was still a sinner. You loved me when I was your enemy; you loved me when I did not love you. How much more you must love me, now that I have found your truth, and love you in return! (Romans 5:8-10)

Thank you for sending your Son, Father, so that I could be washed in your blood.
I am not worthy to even kneel in your presence, Father, for I have been born into sin, and I struggle to overcome my sinful desires every day. Sometimes, through your strength and because of your mercy, I am able to triumph over my flesh. Other times I am not as strong as I could be.
Father, I only ask for the opportunity to serve you, as a servant or even a slave. I would choose to be just a doorman in your presence, Father, than to receive all of the riches that this world has to offer, and be a king from whom you would turn and hide your face.
