"The Book of Revelation, An Eschatological Study of the Endtimes", by Chad J. McCoy

But could it be possible that these are still demonic beings that simply have the power to breathe fire? I suppose.
The horses that are seen, have lions heads, and have riders. Their tails are like snakes, which also strike people down. Now these could be more demons which have taken strange forms. But if the horses are demons, then who are the riders? What do we have, demons riding demons?
When trying to put these 200 million troops in a demonic light, it seems possible, but unlikely.
It seems much more likely that these are machines of some kind, with human drivers, like a tank.
With the locusts, we ruled out the possibility that they might be machines, because they originated in Hell. These troops, however, seem to originate on Earth. The four demons were bound on earth, remember.
So I would conclude that these 200 million troops are actual human armies, led by these four demons.
Now some people say that these troops are Chinese, because China is the only nation large enough to have 200 million soldiers.
But look at the colors of the breastplates of the horses. Red, Blue, and Yellow. Are there nations that use these colors on their military equipment? If so, then we might be able to identify these troops.
Rather than try to look up all different kinds of military vehicles, I decided to start simple, by looking up these colors in the dictionary, and see if the definitions led me anywhere. For example, with newborn babies, pink represents girls while blue represents boys. Based on the color, I can make an identification. I wanted to see if the dictionary pointed to any groups in particular. These definitions were taken from the American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language 3rd Edition.
First I looked up Red. After being told that red is "The hue of the long-wave end of the visible spectrum, evoked in the human observer by radiant energy with wavelengths of approximately 630 to 750 nanometers" I began to find interesting things.
Red is "any of a group of colors that may vary in lightness and saturation and whose hue resembles that of blood"
So I am being led right away to believe that the color red has an association (not in politics, or the news, or in history - but in the dictionary as a basic definition) with blood.
Also, "Often Red. A Communist".
And, "A revolutionary activist".
And then, " 1. Color. Having a color resembling that of blood.
2. Reddish in color or having parts that are reddish in color: a red dog; a red oak.
3.
a. Having a reddish or coppery skin color.
b. Often Red. Offensive. Of or being a Native American.
4. Having a ruddy or flushed complexion: red with embarrassment. Often Red. Communist"

So I get from these definitions a direct correlation between the color red and blood, communism, Native Americans, and revolutionaries.

Ok, let's go on to Blue, and see where that leads us before trying to conclude anything just yet.
Blue: "The hue of that portion of the visible spectrum lying between green and indigo, evoked in the human observer by radiant energy with wavelengths of approximately 450 to 490 nanometers". Yeah, yeah.
Also, "any of a group of colors that may vary in lightness and saturation, whose hue is that of a clear daytime sky; one of the additive or light primaries;".
And, "A person who wears a blue uniform. blues. A dress blue uniform, especially that of the U.S. Army. The sky. The sea."
Interesting. So blue is associated with the sky, the sea, and anyone who wears a blue uniform, but especially if it's a US Army uniform."
Curiouser and curiouser.
Now for yellow.

Yellow is "The hue of that portion of the visible spectrum lying between orange and green, evoked in the human observer by radiant energy with wavelengths of approximately 570 to 590 nanometers". Ok,ok.
Also, "The yolk of an egg."
And, " Gold. Used formerly by prospectors."
As well as, " Of or being a person of Asian origin."
And, " Cowardly."

So yellow is associated with eggs, gold, cowards, and Asians."

Well, well! In the dictionary, these colors are defined as being Communists, United States Army soldiers, and Asians."
I think I've found out who these troops are. The Russians, The United States, and China. Now there is a little more to this than just these three nations. Communism extends farther than just the Russians. It's just that the Russians are the most well-known for being Red. The Great Red Bear, is Russia. But this is probably the entire Soviet Union. Asians can also include the Japanese, Taiwanese, etc, along with the Chinese. And then we have the United States, and probably whatever allies she might have.
So what we see is that this will be a multinational force, and this fits in with what we know about the one-world government that will be in place at this time.
Now you might ask who these people are fighting. Well, "fighting" would be the wrong word to use. To have a fight, you must have two fighters. But these troops are being led by demon-possessed leaders. They don't have any disputes with a particular group of people - They wouldn't have a reason to go after a specific group of people (unless it's Christians, and they've already been raptured).
Demons hate all mankind, and they are going out to kill one third of them. This will not be nation against nation. These troops are nothing more than pawns, tools of a demonic force who are bent on wiping out mankind from the face of this earth. This will be military might against civilians, innocents.
The bible says that throughout all the destruction that takes place because of these troops, there is no repentance taking place. There is still demon worship and idol worship, murders, witchcraft, sexual immorality, and robberies.
You would think that with all that is going on, where it's only a matter of time until tragedy strikes you, that people would be more concerned with their eternal soul. But they're not.
Next we'll get into the second of part of the Sixth Trumpet.

Rev. 10:1-11: Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was robed in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were like fiery pillars. 2 He was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand. He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land, 3 and he gave a loud shout like the roar of a lion. When he shouted, the voices of the seven thunders spoke. 4 And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, "Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down."
5 Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven. 6 And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said, "There will be no more delay! 7 But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets."
8 Then the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke to me once more: "Go, take the scroll that lies open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land."
9 So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, "Take it and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey." 10 I took the little scroll from the angel's hand and ate it. It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour. 11 Then I was told, "You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings."

Even the Book of Revelation does not tell the whole story about what will happen during the Days of Judgement.
After seeing the 200 million troops, John sees a holy angel descend from heaven to the earth, holding a small scroll. He stood with one foot on the sea, and one foot on the land, and gave a great shout like the roar of a lion.
The shout was the cue for seven thunders to roll, and the thunders spoke words. John was told not to record what the seven thunders said.
I wonder what was said, and why we are not allowed to know it.
Seven thunders. Interesting that they speak before the seventh trumpet has blown. You would think that they would speak after the Trumpet Judgements. That way, you would have the Seals, the Trumpets, the Thunders, etc. Go figure.
Perhaps the seven thunders do not proclaim judgements. Maybe they just make some kind of statement.
Whatever it is they say, it is hidden from us. There is an entire event that has been kept from us. Those of us who claim to understand what will occur in the endtimes would do well to remember that there is something that will happen that none of us know.
Every book I've ever seen simply ignored the thunders. We're told that events will progress from the sixth trumpet judgement to the seventh, without so much as a footnote explaining that there is something that will happen in-between that is completely unknowable.
I have taken the time to make you aware.
After the thunders speak, the angel that has one foot on the sea, and one foot on the land will raise his hand to heaven and say that when the seventh angel blows his trumpet, "then the hidden purposes of God, of which He told the good news to His servants, the Prophets, are at once fulfilled". - The Twentieth Century New Testament version of the Bible.
There will be no further delay. God is going to wrap this thing up.
Then we see John commanded to eat the angel's scroll, and he says it tastes great, but it made him sick to his stomach. Whatever this symbolism is, it must have something to do with the seven thunders, therefore it is unknowable. I'll venture a guess that the scroll had something about the sin of the earth written on it. Sin is pleasurable when first committed, but in the end it always leads to death. So maybe that's why it tasted good when he ate it, but made him sick later. Just a guess. There is no way of knowing what this is all about because John was told not to record the words of the seven thunders.
John is then told to get ready because he is going to have to prophecy again about what will happen to the earth.
Now we move on to the 3rd and last event of the Sixth Trumpet.

Rev. 11:1-14: I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, "Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the worshipers there. 2 But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months. 3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth." 4 These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. 5 If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die. 6 These men have power to shut up the sky so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.
7 Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them. 8 Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city, which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. 9 For three and a half days men from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial. 10 The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth.
11 But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. 12 Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here." And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on.
13 At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14 The second woe has passed; the third woe is coming soon.

The first part of this deals with the Temple in Jerusalem, and will require a good deal of explanation.
The second deals with the Two Witnesses, which is straight-forward.
Let's tackle the Temple first.
Currently there is no temple in Jerusalem. The Jews want to build the Temple, but they have a problem. The site that it should be built on is occupied by the Dome of the Rock; a Church of Mohammed. The old temple was destroyed, and this Dome of the Rock now stands on the same ground. The Jews cannot rebuild their temple unless something is done about the Dome of the Rock.
This is the most holy site of the Mohammedan religion. It is the most holy site for the Jews as well. You can imagine the contention between these two. Neither is willing to make concession to the other. The Jews want Jerusalem for their capital, and the Dome of the Rock torn down so their Temple can be built. The Mohammedans also want Jerusalem for their capital, and for the Jews to be evicted from the city.
Read this excerpt from Easton's Bible Dictionary for a clear understanding of what this passage in Revelation means.
The temple erected by the exiles (exiles means the exiled Jews - Author's Note) on their return from Babylon had stood for about five hundred years, when Herod the Great became king of Judea. The building had suffered considerably from natural decay as well as from the assaults of hostile armies, and Herod, desirous of gaining the favour of the Jews, proposed to rebuild it. This offer was accepted, and the work was begun (B.C. 18), and carried out at great labour and expense, and on a scale of surpassing splendour. The main part of the building was completed in ten years, but the erection of the outer courts and the embellishment of the whole were carried on during the entire period of our Lord's life on earth (John 2:16, 19-21), and the temple was completed only A.D. 65. But it was not long permitted to exist. Within forty years after our Lord's crucifixion, his prediction of its overthrow was accomplished (Luke 19:41-44). The Roman legions took the city of Jerusalem by storm, and notwithstanding the strenuous efforts Titus made to preserve the temple, his soldiers set fire to it in several places, and it was utterly destroyed (A.D. 70), and was never rebuilt.
Several remains of Herod's stately temple have by recent explorations been brought to light. It had two courts, one intended for the Israelites only, and the other, a large outer court, called "the court of the Gentiles," intended for the use of strangers of all nations. These two courts were separated by a low wall, as Josephus states, some 4 1/2 feet high, w

ith thirteen openings. Along the top of this dividing wall, at regular intervals, were placed pillars bearing in Greek an inscription to the effect that no stranger was, on the pain of death, to pass from the court of the Gentiles into that of the Jews. At the entrance to a graveyard at the north-western angle of the Haram wall, a stone was discovered by M. Ganneau in 1871, built into the wall, bearing the following inscription in Greek capitals: "No stranger is to enter within the partition wall and enclosure around the sanctuary. Whoever is caught will be responsible to himself for his death, which will ensue."
There can be no doubt that the stone thus discovered was one of those originally placed on the boundary wall which separated the Jews from the Gentiles, of which Josephus speaks.
It is of importance to notice that the word rendered "sanctuary" in the inscription was used in a specific sense of the inner court, the court of the Israelites, and is the word rendered "temple" in John 2:15 and Acts 21:28, 29. When Paul speaks of the middle wall of partition (Eph. 2:14), he probably makes allusion to this dividing wall. Within this partition wall stood the temple proper, consisting of, (1) the court of the women, 8 feet higher than the outer court; (2) 10 feet higher than this court was the court of Israel; (3) the court of the priests, again 3 feet higher; and lastly (4) the temple floor, 8 feet above that; thus in all 29 feet above the level of the outer court.
The summit of Mount Moriah, on which the temple stood, is now occupied by the Haram esh-Sherif, i.e., "the sacred enclosure." This enclosure is about 1,500 feet from north to south, with a breadth of about 1,000 feet, covering in all a space of about 35 acres. About the centre of the enclosure is a raised platform, 16 feet above the surrounding space, and paved with large stone slabs, on which stands the Mohammedan mosque called Kubbet es-Sahkra i.e., the "Dome of the Rock," or the Mosque of Omar. This mosque covers the site of Solomon's temple. In the centre of the dome there is a bare, projecting rock, the highest part of Moriah (q.v.), measuring 60 feet by 40, standing 6 feet above the floor of the mosque, called the sahkra, i.e., "rock." Over this rock the altar of burnt-offerings stood. It was the threshing-floor of Araunah the Jebusite. The exact position on this "sacred enclosure" which the temple occupied has not been yet definitely ascertained. Some affirm that Herod's temple covered the site of Solomon's temple and palace, and in addition enclosed a square of 300 feet at the south-western angle. The temple courts thus are supposed to have occupied the southern portion of the "enclosure," forming in all a square of more than 900 feet. It is argued by others that Herod's temple occupied a square of 600 feet at the south-west of the "enclosure."

So you see that the Temple had an outer court and an inner court.
John is told to measure only the inner court. The inner court, he is told, is to be given to the Gentiles.
Here today, Israel is wondering what to do about the Temple situation. They have the plans, the materials, the workers, the money… but they cannot build it while the Dome of the Rock stands. The Temple must be built on the old temple site.
However…
There is room to build the Temple, as long as they do not build the outer court.
And what was John told? To measure the temple, but to exclude the outer court.
The Jews want to build the Temple. God has John help, by measuring the old one so they will know its measurements. But John is told to forget about the outer court. Therefore, the Jews are not supposed to build it.
What this means is that the Jews will not be successful in their efforts to have the Dome of the Rock torn down. The Mohemmedans will be unsuccessful as well, at having the Jews evicted from Jerusalem.
What we see here, is a compromise. The Jews will be given permission to stay and build their Temple, if they will allow the Dome of the Rock to remain. This will force the Jews into building the temple without the outer court, and fulfill prophecy.
The temple plays a part in the events of the endtimes, because as we will see later on, the AntiChrist will enter the Temple and proclaim himself to be God. This cannot happen unless the temple is first built. There has to be a temple for him to stand in.
That is one reason so many people are watching Jerusalem right now. They are watching to see what is going to happen with the temple. Once it is built, we know that it will not be long before the AntiChrist enters it. The temple is a gauge for us to use to determine how much time we have left.
It is said that the outer court will be given over to the Gentiles, and the Gentiles will trample Jerusalem for 3½ years.
"Trample" means "To beat down with the feet so as to crush, bruise, or destroy; tramp on. To treat harshly or ruthlessly: would trample anyone who got in their way.", according to the dictionary.
So Jerusalem is going to be trashed. Not destroyed, but defaced, dirtied, belittled, vandalized, degraded, humiliated, shamed. Trampled for 3½ years.
This leads us right into the Two Witnesses.

For these same 3½ years, (we know it's the same 3 ½ years because other versions of the bible, the Amplified Bible, and the New English Bible in particular state that Jerusalem will be trampled for 3 ½ years, and that all through those 3 ½ years the Lord will have two Witnesses) God will have two Witnesses in Jerusalem, prophesying and testifying of the Lord. They will be invulnerable to any form of attack, and have the power to keep it from raining, turn water to blood, and strike the earth with anything else they can think of to do, as often as they wish.
When their time is up, they will be attacked and killed by no less than a demon. The bible says they are killed by "the beast that comes up from the Abyss." The only thing that has come out of Hell at this point has been the locusts, who had as King over them the demon of Hell: Destroyer.
Destroyer will attack and kill God's Witnesses, most likely through demonic-possession of a human. Why do I say that? Well, these Witnesses have just spent 3½ years testifying about God. No one listens. No one believes. No one repents.
Why have a demon appear, looking exactly like the supernatural, evil creature it is? All that will do is add weight to the Witnesses' words! It would say "Yes, there is a spirit world. Yes, there are angels and demons. Yes, there is a God. The bible is true."
If people don't believe these things even after all the testimony they've heard, then why do something so obviously otherworldly that people would be forced to reconsider their positions on God.
The whole thing can be avoided simply by taking over a human, and doing the deed through him.
No one has believed the testimony for 3½ years, or the testimony of Christians for decades before this. This murder of the Witnesses will do nothing to change that.
Actually, you would think that the sun darkening, the moon turning to blood, the stars falling to the sky, the heavens rolling up like a scroll, the earthquakes, the locusts, the troops… would have caused someone to realize that this is all predicted in the Bible, and that they would repent and try to seek the Lord for salvation.
We say the same thing about the children of Israel when they left Egypt, though. Why did the Israelites do the dumb things they did? Why did they build a golden calf and worship it as their God? Why did they wish to be back in Egypt, thinking they would die in the wilderness? God didn't save them to kill them! They saw so many miracles! Water from a rock. Manna from heaven. The Red Sea divided so that they could walk through it to safety. The pillar of smoke and the pillar of fire. The victory over Jericho. The healing of anyone who looked upon the serpent. The earth opening up and swallowing those who opposed Moses. We could go on and on. But they ended up all perishing in the wilderness because of their unbelief. Only Joshua and Caleb entered the Promised Land.
They had plenty of testimony - why didn't they believe? If ever a people were stiff-necked, it was these people.
But looking at the people still alive at the time of the Two Witnesses, it doesn't look like things have changed. People are still stiff-necked.
Once the Witnesses are dead, they will be refused burial. Their bodies will lie in the streets of Jerusalem for 3 ½ days, and men from every part of the earth (I would assume this part is possible because of television) will see them and declare a holiday because the plagues that these two men dished out are over.
After the 3 ½ days, though, the Witnesses will be brought back to life, they will stand up, and a voice will come out of heaven and say "Come up here". Then the two Witnesses will ascend to heaven while the world looks on.
You can imagine the terror of the people of the earth as these men come back to life. It was bad enough before, when the Witnesses were alive, casting plagues on them left and right. But now they've been killed and come back to life. They're probably going to be mad, let alone the fact that their resurrection is now proof that their testimony was valid. Now is the time when people should be rethinking their positions, and seeking the Lord.
Does it happen? Well, before there can be any soul-searching, an earthquake levels 1/10th of the city, killing 7,000 people.
And then, yes, the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of Heaven.
So much for the demon Destroyer not wanting to tip his hand. God tips it for him by resurrecting the Witnesses and bringing them to heaven in full view of the whole world.
This ends the catastrophe that is the sixth Trumpet, and also called the second woe.
To review, the second woe was the 200 million troops killing 1/3rd of mankind; the seven thunders (whatever they are), and the plagues of the Two Witnesses, with an earthquake for a finale.

Rev. 11:15-19: The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:
"The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord
and of his Christ,
and he will reign for ever and ever."
16 And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying:
"We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,
the One who is and who was,
because you have taken your great power
and have begun to reign.
18 The nations were angry;
and your wrath has come.
The time has come for judging the dead,
and for rewarding your servants the prophets
and your saints and those who reverence your name,
both small and great-
and for destroying those who destroy the earth."
19 Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a great hailstorm.

As the seventh trumpet is sounded, praise is given to God by the 24 elders. They say that the day of His wrath has come, and that it is time now to judge the dead, to reward the prophets and the saints, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.
In heaven, God's temple is opened and the ark of the covenant was seen within. A great storm hits the earth, along with hail and another earthquake.
